Good Evening,
I am trying to make at least 1 contact in the CQ WPX RTTY Contest and yet no luck at all.
MMTTY will transmit, but it seems that for some reason the frequency that shows on my MB1 does not match the frequency that Reverse Beacon is saying.
And thus, I am probably not transmitting on the frequency that they are receiving on.
I am using DIGL so that is not the problem.
I have spent the last hour trying to get this to work and to no avail whatsoever.
I even have tried it using N1MM Plus and just can't make a contact.
Does anyone have a quick, simple, easy way to do this?
In Options, Device, TX I have the following settings under DIGL.
Low 90 HZ
High 2190 HZ
Offset 2200 HZ
And sync with RX is checked.
Plus when using MMTTY the numbers are constantly changing in the software program.
HELP if you can!

Ensure you are not accidentally TXing in reverse tones.

Check the MMTTY front panel for Rev.

If you are in reverse, that might be the reason for the Reverse Beacon freq offset. You will see changing numbers in MMTTY because it is dynamically decoding - it is not like a hardware defined fixed demodulator.

Here is a perfect example. my frequency on the radio is 7.092.8 and yet the station I am copying per reverse beacon is 7.094
In the options TX tab I have the following settings for DIGL
Low: 70
High: 2200
Offset: 2200
I have UOS and BPF buttons pushed.
Here are some other readings,
Mark 1010
Shift 170
BW 60
AV 70
That seems to be an automatic type of setting per MMTTY.
Evidently I am copying him 1.2 KC lower than what it should be on my radio.

That is because the nominal Mark frequency is 2125Hz. You are at 1010Hz, therefore will be 1115Hz low in reporting the frequency of the station on 7.094

7094 - 1.115 = 7092.885 or 7092.8 to one decimal place with no rounding.

MMTTY is dynamically locking to signals, hence Mark and Space are not fixed as they would be with a FSK demodulator. To return to the nominal setting, press HAM and it will show Mark at 2125.

In the picture below I set Mark to near 2125 and tuned to RB spot 4L8A reported on 14085.1 (yes I am 10hz off). In practical terms I am exactly on him according to the Spot, he is on that frequency and I am decoding.

I see the picture. But I tried this morning and still not able to Run and get a contact or do Search and Ponce and get a contact.
Can anyone give me the settings that I need to make in EESDR 2 Options TX so I can duplicate what hopefully works.
And also what your settings are for each tab in MMTTY.
Not to say that some of the basic help in the Addendum is not good..
But it looks like I need some real intensive detailed help to have both EESDR2 and MMTTY in tune with one another.
Thanks for all your help!

The Addendum gives you the settings for ESDR2. This document has very detailed setup instructions for MMTTY

Ok, now this something I do not understand. Why in the options when I have for DIGl the following Numbers,
70
3000
2200
I push apply and OK.

But if I go into DIGL,
The numbers are this,
60
2200
2200

Why do they change?
Could it be because I have the Sync with RX checked?
