Hi,

It would be great to be able to write macros and assign them to buttons / e-coder.

This would enable us to have a real "software defined" transceiver :)

One could very easily write a macro that sets a pre-defined shift for split operation, reduce power, switch amplifier off, send tune signal and when ready, turn power up,. etc. Or carry out a bunch of operations on one press of a button or change of status, eg. if you go to 40m, change antenna, reduce power, run an external program/script, . etc etc, your imagination is the limit.

I second this idea as it could bring a lot more functionality to the E-Coder.
