Not a MM linear, but I use a Gemini SSPA driven at 2.5w from my SunSDR2DX . The principles are the same..what is it you want to know?

Paul Thanks for response .
I have no experience of VHF Linears.
the MML 144/100S manual says....Internal VOX circuit to switch linear to transmit. Also possible to override by phono connection to earth which is compatible with transceiver PTT.
Have looked at SunSDRDX manual and assuming external connector socket is to be used but cannot understand wiring diagram.to work out which is ptt line.

Which switching method do you use?
Any help gratefully received.

Hi Tom. I use the ptt command from my SunSDR2DX. See p24 of the user manual...you want the centre pin of your Phono lead going to pin 13 of the SunSDR2DX, and the screen of the phono lead going to pin 15 of the SunSDR2DX. You can buy the 15 pin connectors from Amazon or eBay. You'll need to enable the PA in ESDR version 2 or 3 too. I'm away at the moment but if you're still struggling at the weekend let me know, and we can do a phone call..
