After 3 weeks of set up, reading, posting help adds and searching the forum, installing un installing still not set up. No log book worked. I'm going back to the other SDR. TCI is a joke even with V2. For sale as new SunSDR2 DX with The E-coder Plus. sold as a set only. contact direct.

Works beautifully here. I use JTDX and JT Alert and Log4OM2 and everything integrates flawlessly, Sorry to hear about your displeasure with it and good luck with the sale. This is one of the finest radio's I've had.

Everything works as it should TCI or CAT V2 OR V3.
Logbook like N3FJP, LOG4OM, LOGHX TCI and CAT.
JTDX & WSJT & FLDIGi no problem.

Also works great here. I use JTDX and JT Alert. I'm a long time user of DX Labs DX Keeper logbook. JT Alert logs directly to DX Keeper (and LOTW). I use a cat command to DX Commander to auto log other modes. SDC is a great addition. In addition to the excellent skimmer, I have used the modems for PSK31 and RTTY.
I also have a venerable Elecraft K3 that has its IF interface feed to a LP-Pan and a Behringer 192 k USB audio adapter to provide a panadapter, all knit together with the excellent Win4K3 software. I switch back and forth between the two and I'm happy with the performance of the SunSDR2 DX and its ease of use.

Interesting ... Usually, someone who bought "as new" SunSDR DX (and lost a fight with the manual) is attempting to return the rig to the seller...

Also interesting, that I could not find any of announced "help adds", posted on forum by topic starter. Couple questions about labels and mac specs ...

Love my DX.
Run TCI for every my dxpedition (majority on V2) with zero failure rate. Cannot wait to run dxpedition on V3 TCI - should be working as a charm.
Got 3rd party Log and my own-programmed Log connected
Not going to sell or change my DX. Not going to sell my SunSDR2 (still in active use)

I left a fantasticly working Flex 6600 for my SunSDR2 DX and love it. I had a few issues, but TCI, OMG it's awesome!!! I'm using ExpertSDR2 and have finally dialed in my audio!! My setup works with JTAlerts, Log4OM, WSTJ-X, JTDX, DXAgrigator! Everything that worked on the Flex works just as good or BETTER on my SunSDR2 DX!

I can only second what's been said, my sunsdr2 dx is just amazing. Same for TCI, couldn't be easier than hooking up JTDX via TCI. SDC skimmer via TCI very rocks! Also TCI itself is a nice protocol. Anything that can open a websocket and send some characters is able to control via TCI, e.g. pushing out a CW macro just takes a line of text.

I also replaced a FLEX 6600M for the SDR2 Dx and never looked back.
The EESDR SW is light years ahead of that available from Flex and with SDR3 it with be in another Universe.
With TCI, I can connect, and track, my RF Kit RF 2K+ Amp by just entering the Ip and port address.
NO additional cables or SW required.
I also use TCI with the other TCI supported SW programs supported on the EESDR Web Site.

Sold all my Flex junk and bought an MB1 and never looked back!

Now.. i won't say that my SunSDR2 isnt' without it's minor hicups, but i love the feedback provided constantly by Roman and the Expert team. I have some random issues with audio where after the SSDR2 is left on all night, and i try to transmit with FT8, the sound comes out through my desktop speakers however the configuration is set to port the sound out through my headphones. I reboot the Expert2 software and the problem goes away. There may be another one or two issues, but they are minor! I never got this type of reponse from Flex, but i also didn't have many issues with it as well. It too remained on 24x7.
