Hi All
Since having the SunSDR2 DX just over a month or so I get reports and have listened to myself on numerous SDR's around the place and I'm ever so slightly off frequency on SSB.
Have I missed a setting somewhere, or could I have something on? Have checked the usual suspects like XIT, RIT etc all on 0.
Loving the radio, just some niggling issues I want to iron out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Jordan.
To make sure that TX freq is correct, we suggest to use RWM signals or high frequency (shortwave) standard frequency and time signal radio station.
Please let us know the result.

Frequency calibration settings are in the software.

I zero beat by ear against WWV and/or use fldigi along side it in WWV or FMT mode.

Remember, a lot of other radios are off 10-20Hz so you never know if the person telling you that you are off...is on or not.

2 to 3 hz off . . . I would not even worry about it. A non issue for me.

Jordan,
Have you checked that your "RIT and XIT" are both set to "0 Offset "?
Having offsets of 2 to 3 Hz is almost unrecognizable but 30 Hz and upward sure are.

Hi Guys

Thanks for your responses.

I might just have to accept it, it's not such a big deal as it's oh so small. There has only been 1 or 2 stations that have mentioned it to me otherwise no one says anything and have commended my audio quality. Using Heil Goldline, using EQ, Compressor and Mic Gain only.

Hi Tom, yes my offsets are at 0 :)

I would be one of the guys who mention it, (esp. if your in a regular group) and not in a bad way but because with a good ear is easy to notice with an SDR radio!
And yes I see and hear many that are much worse ,
