Low TX Recording Level 29 May 2022 17:47 #1

Hello,

I have noticed that when the recordings of the correspondents are made on the air, the gain level is very low and the equipment barely consumes energy...

Where is the option to increase that gain level... I don't see it.

The software is the ExpertSdr3

The recordings that one makes oneself for calls, those if they come out with a good level of gain and power in the equipment.

Thank you

Please clarify, what exactly do you want?
The signal you record is recorded in the original form, without changes in volume.
Do you then use this signal for TX mode, and it's quiet?

Thank you

I have mentioned this in a previous GitHub bug a while back

Here Rome is the issue:

If a signal on air is being recorded and for most part that signal is say around s9+5 then all seems well on playback of that recording and you get decent power output of radio close to what your drive level is set for:

However, if the recorded signal is LOWER than S9, then playback will produce a VERY LOWER RF output.

So there really should be an option to adjust the Audio Gain on playback of recorded signal for use in Re transmitting them,
However I will Note: THE RECORDING LEVEL input Gain from the EESDR software is damn near perfect and very close to what is heard over the air, so don't screw that up.
Just give us a way to increase the playback gain for those recoding's that are captured without a lot of signal input to begin with.
