Morning all.

I notice that there is a yahoogroups loghx forum but as yahoo has all but killed off users groups I wondered if there was an alternative? :unknown:

I have enjoyed using it with my SunSDR2 Pro and it would be great if we could get a support community going for us English speakers. I'd be happy to setup a groups.io group - I currently administer FT-817 groups.io group with some 18,000+ members :geek:

For example, in the QSO entry screen there are User 1... User 7 fields, is there a way to relabel these fields to populate different ADIF fields?

Kind regards, Mark.

Hi,

just right click in the "Add QSO" panel the select Set log Field.
In the the picture below I assigned the Antenna label and field to the User1 field.
Consider also, reducing the number of visible lines if you don use all the UserX fields (see the third picure below).
If it can help give a look at Erik 's Addendum pdf and at the the following pages https://iw7dmh.jimdofree.com/sunsdr2-pro-pages/loghx3-log-con-supporto-tci-parte-1/

Thank you for the help!
I can now see from your suggestion a list of options to choose from for the field, but I don't see a field that may result in the COMMENT field in the ADIF file being populated.
Are you aware of the correct mapping, or if this is possible?
Thanks, Mark.

Hi Mark,

I never had to manage all the ADIF fields before, anyway in the General Setup you can configure a minimal conversion logic TO and FROM a ADIF file.
In the picture below I configured USER2 field to be handled like a Comment field.
This settings works well importing and exporting the qsos to/from LogHX2 but in the actual file you won't see a <COMMENT> tag. The USER2 informations will be handled with the <USER2:7> tag (ore something similar).
I'll continue to investigate on it.

Thank you for your continued help.
I like using the comments field as I can type a lot of information in there quickly, and it is easy to see the content from my QRZ.COM logbook which is what I have been using as my 'official' source. I was previously using Fast Log Entry which works great for quick entry, and maps a comment to the COMMENT ADIF field. Actually with Fast Log Entry I am limited in my choice of ADIF fields too, and have overloaded that field with lots of information such as RIG, PWR etc which really belongs in a separate field of the ADIF file.

Of course if there isn't a solution I have one of two choices:
1. ask for it to be added to the list of ADIF mappable fields as a feature request ;)
2. post process my LogHX ADIF file to map USER1 to COMMENTS.

Step (2) is on the cards for me anyway as I will be using a combination of LogHX or Fast Log Entry in the future, depending on the rig and whether I am pedestrian portable (SOTA for example).

Kind regards Mark.

Hello,
I am new to the LogHX software. When I upload a QSO from JTDX to LogHX everything is entered except the name.
I have checked QRZ via the internet but it does not work, the upload to QRZ.COM does not work either.
I used my correct login and also entered API I have a paid account on QRZ.

Thanks Pat

Hi Pat
I haven't been able to get the direct export to QRZ.COM working either, I have had to use the standard ADIF export and upload via the QRZ.COM upload page.
Alexei did respond to my direct message and recommended raising further issues (for English speakers) on this forum: forum.qrz.ru/355-loghx-apparatnyy-zhurnal-lyubitelskoy-radiostantsii/50727-loghx-english-version-10.html

Regards, Mark.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the info downloaded the latest version and it works now.
Only problem if I set auto upload for eQSL and QRZ.COM then it does not fill in RSTS and RSTR in both.
If I use the function for make adif for QRZ, this adif does not contain RSTS and RSTR either.
