As I understand it, I can plug in my key into the back right socket & a footswitch (ie.PTT) into the back left socket. Doing this, the CW key/paddle works fine, but the footswitch does not work,
I have tried using the OPTIONS/PANEL tab to set PTT to either TCI or to a COM port or indeed to No Transfer of PTT but nothing seems to work.
I normally have the footswitch into the main PTT socket on the back of the MB1 where it works perfectly.
Does anyone use the E Coder PTT socket & if so how have you set it up?

I think I have found the answer. My footswitch doesn't have a mono jack plug on it, so by not inserting it the whole way into the ECoder PTT socket, the ECoder PTT function will then work fine.
I'm not sure why the same footswitch plug works in the back of the MB1, but it does.
