I am running the latest version of Windows 10 Pro... I have been having an issue where my ecoder stops functioning while in ExpertSDR2 or ExpertSDR3. I am running the latest release of both 2 and 3... I thought it was the computer putting the Ecoder to "sleep" and it never waking... But, I have gone into Device manager and tried un-checking every USB box allowing windows to put the device to sleep... I can disconnect the USB and move it to a new port and everything starts running again...20-30 minutes or so...
Has anyone else had a problem like this and solved it?
I am experiencing something similar. I lose audio from the Phones jack on the E-Coder2 after about 30 min.. It only occurs with ESDR3 in my case, and the other functions of the E-Coder continue to work. I also tried disabling power management of the USB device with no change. Auido from the Phone jack on the SDR2DX hardware continues to function normally.
Win 10 x64, ExpertSDR3_x64_0.12.1. I have needed to move back to ESDR2 to avoid the problem till there is a fix.
Update to my earlier post. I do now experience the same behavior of Audio malfunction of Phone Jack on E-Coder2 in ESDR2 also.
I hear just clicks from the Phones jack. Must restart ESDR2(3) to resolve.
For proper operation of the E-Coder2 panel USB-port should provide 5V, current not less than 0,5А. Otherwise, you might have issues with the audio—cracks, improper supply of the mic.
Hello around
do I need a special firmware update for the Ecoder2 or is it done automatic with EESDR3 012.1?
I got all symtoms named here Loosing connection, crackling audio and nearly 0,5 seconds between transmitted CW an the cw audio from TX CW macro in the headphone.
I use an Internal USB3.1 Card with 4 ports and external 5V from PC powersupply.
