Someone is using the Eq8 band+EQ plus with the Sunsdr2 DX or the Pro.

I would like to know your experience.

I have never used this EQ but I think tha you do not need this
EQ ,for me stand up I get a good modulation with what the
Radio brings ,which is enough if ,I would like tha in the future they can include it
so tha the plug-ins can be used vst and rta

I have run my W2IHY products on many rigs before, but not tested on my SunSDR as I think they are not needed there. They are ofcourse very easy to set up, so that could be a reason.

He believed that using only the EQ plus with the internal Equalizer of the equipment the results will be surprising, in my opinion.
I currently use an X AIR Xr12 with an Electrovoice RE20 microphone, but I don't like the results.

The Xair is FAR more powerful for processing than the W2IHY boxes. The only thing missing is skill in applying it. It takes time to learn.

You won't get "better" results with the W2IHY gear, just take time to learn the Xair or for that matter, the built-in processing tools as they are also very good.

I am using the rig's equalizer with settings as advised by Vasily, RN6LHF, in this video

Indeed I have been configuring my Yamaha Cm 500 headsets similar to the video, compared to the Xair 12, the results of the headsets are excellent. As some others have commented the Xair can work but no external element is necessary.

I also notice that the modulation is more linear and the RMS/PEP power delivery much higher.
