I currently have 1 monitor connected to the MB1. The monitor is connected from the HDMI port in the back of the radio. I use that monitor for logging and running other programs. What I would like to do is connect another monitor which would show the ESDR screen. Am I correct that I would connect a monitor to the DPort connection on the back of the radio and then just move the radio screen over to that monitor? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Mark,

Unless you already have 2nd monitor, get this one from Costco, much easier to see/use and serves as 2 monitors with one HDMI connection:

Half can be used for MB1 screen and other half for additional software/windows. Before ordering, play with windows external monitor settings. you can mirror main screen etc.

Yuri,
Yes I do have a second monitor. I have a 25" Asus and also a 22" Asus.I have the 25" already connected via HDMI. Was going to use the 22" monitor for ESDR screen.

Yuri,
It seems that LG has a nice variety of Split Screen 2.0 technology wide monitors.
Unfortunately the above mentioned monitor doesn't have speakers.
I was looking at tigerdirect.com and they have a nice LG selection even with speakers.
And they are what I would call reasonably priced.

Thanks to Hans, LA9AKA I was finally able to enable a 2nd monitor and disable the MB! Internal Monitor.
The procedure is as follows,
1. Connect 2nd monitor to DPort or HDMI, your choice.
2. In windows 10 you will see 3 monitors, EX 1, 2, 3.
3. In my setup #1 was the MB1 Int. Monitor. You will see a grey out check mark on Main Monitor.
4. Click on another monitor and designate that as the main monitor.
5. Click on the MB1 monitor and disable.
6. Once done you can go to your second external monitor and use Extend Desktop.

Your MB1 screen will be dark so not to worry.
You will see your desktop on the monitor you designated as the Main Monitor, ESDR2 once loaded should be on the second monitor.
Good Luck and Enjoy!

Now i found 49 inch ultra wide Samsung C49HG90DM monitor and finally enough space for programs on screen.
It take space, but seem to be faster way to handle program like Swisslog, which need computer power.
Using 2 or more monitors notised that Swisslog run too slow.

Have you thought about upgrading to 32GB of memory? That might give you the extra punch you need for Swisslog.

Hi Mark
Checked today, what is my memory usage,, radio + Swisslog take totally less than 30% of memory.
Processor average load is 60-80%(3.25Ghz peak speed)
Gpu 0 average load is 80-90% ,, quite high...
Started to stop and uninstall Microsoft crap and which is worse, cant uninstall worthless programs , like Microsoft store and news, pictures etc which reduce network speed
Embedded windows may be better...
Need to study if there is other ways to stop unwanted processes,, i know some it experts, maybe they have solution..
Thank you anyway for help!
