I was excited to see that in my absence, V3 had moved to beta and I downloaded it and it failed to install saying I needed OS11 to run it. My question is...Why was the decision made to not make V3 backwards compatible? If the alpha versions ran on OS 10.15.6 why does the Beta not? I am not buying a new computer just to run V3, that is ridiculous.

This is troublesome I will agree.
why would they allow Previous alpha releases to operate and be used to test software under previous version of MAC o/s,
But now since Beta they no longer allow and call for OS11?
why the heck even bother to alpha test a version if you're not going to use it in a first or final release-?
reminds of the stuff MS pulled with Vista (Aka FISTA) and dare I say Millenium.
So, EE just what is the Minimum requirements for the BETA and for that matter the final release? under all the O/S platforms.
I mean win 10 going to be dropped by MS pretty soon as a supported O/S so does that align in EE as well and only Win11 will work for the finale V3 release, I mean unless they (MS) finish the mythical win12/13 thinking magical rainbow golden horned unicorns. at that point does v3 no longer work with 11 since possibly may still be beta at that point,
that seems like the scenario above where all good to test before OS11, but now that beta No go?
