Hi All

This is my 1st post and I purchased a SUNSDR2DX this week.

I have been setting up the DX Cluster. I am a CDXC member and we have a private cluster which needs a user name and password to access. There is no section to add a user name and password in the Spot Settings tab when you add a new cluster.

Any help would be appreciated or is this some thing that needs adding in a future release.

I would look at the SDC (Software defined connector) application alongside the EESDR sdc.qrz.ru/en/

I think you my be able do that with it, which would also send the spots back to the EESDR display and or other logging clients as well.
It has many nice functions

It connects via the TCI protocol to the EESDR client

I have SDC working. I will give that a go.

Seems a shame that it cant just be included in the EESDR.

Where is SDC in the cluster settings does it allow the addition of username and password.

It does not. SDC is not the answer unless you want to undertake the laborious task of manually entering the login and password data each time you start the program. But you could do that of course. Username and password access is found in some loggers, in other words they send an auto-script file to the cluster at login in response to the prompts, fortunately in the one I use. The problem will be if you want CDXC Spots to the panorama, the logger has to be TCI enabled. For CDXC Cluster with its Spots to the panorama, I use Swisslog. There may be others.

Have same problem - need login to telnet DXC with password and SW unalbe set it... :-(((

HX log has TCI, and you can run both RX 1 and 2

Its listed-on Software with TCI support in the software section on site

the option is a feature in V2 not so much an EE issue regarding an ability to have to process a login to obtain the info
in V3 you will need to use external sources for obtaining spots to be shown on display as there are no options other than adding the Data port for getting the info
