Hi is there a doc to help to setup mic audio for ssb I get bad reports that it is to low or distorted I can not find the sweet spot and also on ssb that with a one to one tune I can not get 100w with a sine wave input it is 70w so please gide me to get full ssb output thanks tony swan M0EUY
Vasily Vasilievich at the very beginning accelerates the microphone level to a large level, so that weak sounds can be heard, but there are distortions, and the distorted signal is sent to the AGC module, while on the Panarama we see emissions on the reverse side, with a level of more than 70, which tells us about the pumping in the signal, which will be visible on the air ! Also, the information on the MIC LEVEL indicator tells us about pumping in the signal ( whether it is the reading of values in RMS or PEAK ) the level is already received at the input of more than 0 dB
With the identifier, it is not clear what values it shows? According to one information, it shows the measurement values in PEAK , according to another information, it shows RMS, the manufacturer itself says that more than 0 dB can not be served and obviously gives an inflated level , here it is not clear!? At what point measurements are made by the MIC Level indicator you have to guess ( I think before entering the transmitter, in the class this module is called a balanced modulator or SSB formation module Then on the MIC LEVEL indicator I think you need simultaneous information on the RMS and PEAK levels -this will help in the correct setting of compres and sound control by the parameter in the speaker ( please do not confuse the meaning of the speaker)
then this distorted signal Vasily begins to compress and equalize ,I think this is not correct!
