Greetings all,

A new MB1 issue I have not seen on the forum. My MB1 (original WIN 10 version w/upgrades) suddenly decided not to Boot Up. When powering on, the radio goes to the UEFI menu. I can get to the BIOS menu after a restart by hitting the DEL key during subsequent start-ups.

The BIOS BOOT tab shows my SSD listed first. In the SAVE AND EXIT tab, it shows UEFI is listed above the SSD.

However, if I scroll down and highlight the SSD in this TAB, hit enter, the radio wlll start up in Windows and run properly. A restart from a running system goes back to the UEFI menu, unless I stop the start-up and go back and start from the BIOS menu.

I did replace the memory battery for good measure, but no help.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

Hi Greg,
That would be frustrating. I wonder if you could replace the Mother Board with an upgrade, or do you need to have the same board. I imagine only form factor size would be the critical issue right?

Cheers,

Thanks Dave,

I found the correct boot menu was not selected up start-up. All is well now. The boot menu was messed up from upgrading to a 1TB SSD. The radio is amazingly fast!
