I am new here, with the SunSDR2-DX, last week, so I still have to adjust a lot

I'm a little confused about the filter taps, default value is 1537.
Some write you should set 4096 better 7681, if the PC is good enough.
Under *User Manual Addendum* I read 2000 is good, higher is not so good for digtal?

What have you set, or you have to try it yourself.

There are two things (groups)...
TX filter taps and DSP filter taps. "User Manual Addendum" is tacking about DSP filter taps.
For EESDR2 ver 1.3.1:
I have my DSP Taps all 7681 exept DIGU/DIGL 2000.
TX filter taps I have all on 7681.
The situation is almost the same on my second SUNSDR2pro where I use EESDR2 ver 1.2.0
Still experimenting with AGC-T on CW and SSB.
But I am not saying that my settings are correct. They are OK for me! For now.

Like Pibo my settings are 7168 for all does both TX and RX

on V3 I turned up as high as possible tx and RX again all modes
