I just upgraded MacBook Pro intel to Sonoma ... all "graphics" of ESDR3 control panel ... disappeared
My suspect is that it is just a "graphic" misbehaviour ... all functions are still there (I mean if you guess where the buttons are) ... but no buttons, no waterfall, nothing

My findings:

1. On Intel MBP - confirmed Apple did break it. I was unable to get Launcher rendered correctly:


However it is possible to start main windows with all elements correctly rendered and working.

Press START button in Laucher first - it will render incorrectly:


Press STOP button in Laucher and after main window completely closed - press START in Laucher again, now it is loaded OK:


2. On M1 MBP it seems to be loading OK - I have tested it on VM under UTM. Loads right from start with no issues:

Recommendation so far are very obvious: never load first issue of new macOS with x.0.0. Wait till new build stabilises (aka Apple found and fix all their shit). Good practice is always keep it n-1 for working machines. Even tested on M1 VM - I still would not trust it myself and will not recommend anyone to upgrade, at least before 14.0.1.

Downgrade to 13.6 and keep it running untill further advise from EE.

I have exactly the same issue on an Intel iMac, except that I have been successfully running EESDR3 on Sonoma 14.0 until yesterday! I forget why, but I stopped the software for some reason and when I attempted to run it again I have the graphic problem described. Unfortunately, the stop -> start trick in launcher doesn't appear to work for me. Guess I will need to be patient and wait for an OS upgrade, I don't really want the hassle of returning to Big Sur.

An update, I have just tried the stop -> start trick again and this time it worked, perhaps it's something to do with the timing of the mouse click! Not stopping the software again for a while! Thanks for the tip Pavel, much appreciated.

Just upgraded to Sonoma 14.1 ... the "graphic" mess is still there (so I suspect Apple won't fix it any time soon).
The workaround still perfectly working ... it is a bit annoying but I can survive without any problem.

Graphics are all fixed in 1.0.6 beta (built with Qt6.6.1). Tested in Sonoma 14.2.1 under Intel and Silicon HW)

MicPC access under Sonoma - there is some issue with requesting access. Please stand by, developers know about this and trying to fix it before 1/.0.6 beta public release.

MicPC is now also fixed and tested unders Sonoma and Ventura on mac Silicon and Intel. Long living Apple/Qt bug now gone
