Hello all,
I have a SunSDR2dx and I'm trying to get to grips with it. So far I have it working fine connected to my router. I have used it with MSHV (Which I really like) via TCI for many qso on MSK144 and FT8 modes.
However, TCI doesn't work with other modes like JTMS which I need in contests and FSK144 for meteor DX.
So I was told to try with Radiosync. I tried this and it works ok with PTT and using JTMS and FSK144 TX RX ok. However, the frequency display does not track. MSHV will not control EESDR3 and EESDR3 does not control MSHV. I get no errors shown. I have very little knowledge of computers and tend to just swap things around until they work...
Please see screenshots for settings in Radiosync and MSHV....PLEASE suggest anything I might try as I have run out of ideas!

Hi

Should the baud rate not be the same for both com ports?

Just a suggestion.

I thought someone would see that! Yes, ive tried matching them, tried different rates, all the same.
I think it will be something to do with the com ports.
Thanks 73

How do you create COM pairs? With VSPE or com0com?

Thanks for that, I have it working.
I uninstalled vspe and com0com and reinstalled a signed version of Com0com I found. I created a new pair of ports (com 4 and Com 5) with com0com and it works perfectly now
I have PTT and vfo control via eesdr or MSHV so I can use non compliant TCI modes! JTMS and MSK144
It seems the original virtual com ports were not installed properly even though they were showing. (this is why I hate computer stuff)
Happy days
