Hello,
I developed a small utility for CW macros. It helps sending CW message with programs that still doesn't support the TCI protocol.
It is implemented in Microsoft .Net enviroment so you can't use it in Linux or Mac OSx operating systems. It is implemented with the keyboard global hooking system, so you may have some troubles with paranoic antivirus. In this case you can just add exception and run safely the program.
You don't need the main focus on TCI-Macro window because the program hooks globally any key pressed in your system, then sends the macro in background to EESDR. It also works with minimized window or when you are using another program. However, this approach has a drawback: if you are running another program that uses the same function keys you have configured in TCI-Macro they can't work. For this purpose you can uncheck the Enable button without closing TCI-Macro and then go on with your program. It is the same if you have configured a EESDR shortcuts with the same function keys you already configured in TCI-Macro.

I am sorry for the late answer, but only today I did an attempt to use my TCI program with the Remote Client.
As you can see in the picture, my program can connect the TCI port of the remote client software. It seems EESDR also receives the macros I sent from my program, but it seems that the cw transmit feature isn't still implemented.
I think that as soon as it will be released the macros should work fine.

Hello,

I am not using the 1.3 beta, but I did an attempt on a old pc and it seems it works fine.
I recorded a clip just to show you I can send more than one macro without any issue. Audio is not very good because the pc isn't vey powerful. (Sorry I can't uplod the small clip)
I suggest you to do other attempts using 5MContest or LogHX3. Both support TCI CW macro.

same problem….the utility crashes esdr2 after tx.. and is impossible write a free text in the window...keybord doesn't respond.
Using Beta 3

It crashes here as soon as the message ends.

I added to the TCI-Macro tool a DVK feature for voice operations. In addition I developed a more compact and dark layout that fits nicely in the EESDR window.
Using the TCI protocol the program can switch PTT and CW/SSB macros without additional hw/sw components.
It isn't still a pure TCI solution, because you need a VAC to send audio stream to the rig. I hope the TCI protocol will be enhanced to receive a audio file and play it by itself.
It should work fine, anyway drop me an email if you find some issues.

TCI can exchange audio between TCI client and ESDR2, why won't you implement it in TCI Macro?
You can find the TCI Client example on GitHub. This project contains the source code which demonstrates audio exchange. In this client, you see the spectrum of the RX audio signal and generate a tone signal for TX.

it works fine, I even compressed and equalized the sound with Audacity and it's perfect. The F keys are very practical and can be stopped instantly with the "Esc" key, very convenient. I can only not keep your app in the foreground (Always on Top)! I have noted what you Roman say about the implementation of audio streams in TCI, do you think you can do it. I had talked to RX4HX for logHX which for me is the most successful Log. He told me he was doing it (3 months ago) but I did not hear any more, and I think there must be a problem. 73 Jean-Marie
