Dear forum members!
I have two E-codes. My first which is 8 years old and new 2 SE. I mostly use the new one, but I have old one intended for SPLIT work or another VFO or another TRX. Only now I noticed that the optical e-coder on old E-coder rotates much harder than on the new E-coder 2 SE. Can something could be done in this direction? Maybe a drop of silicone oil on the axle? Or is that just age issue? But I don't want to open E-coder just for fun. Thanks for any hints or comments.
