But, beware the restricted use ( still closed at about 80% of the 30 Mhz), - besides - witch makes no sense.
Promised debug on the next ExpertSDR2 for ColibriDDC, but when will that happen ?
Playing with BPF ON and Preamp lets you enjoy a certain extra of lower noisefloor and better SNR.
Of course not in every RX situation, but often.

I did, but I preferred the Colibri BPF because :
- automatically following the RX frequency
- the preamp
and maybe the result.
There are some tiny problems, such as a sometimes oscillation when using the preamp without the BPF.

PLEASE, which Resistor are soldered out? My BPF does not work!

of course the ColibriDDC board is enabled to works without a BPF.
Maybe you would not find a resistor at all - like I did.
On my version there is only a soldered bridge at the foot of the female connector ( on the ColobriDDC board, near the antenna input.)
You have to desolder this bridge, which is a little bit tricky. Because you must not melt the black connector !
Have a look at my photo. You may ask me if you have problems.

in one of my posts here in the ColibriDDC forum I proposed / or wished that the "ExtIOColibriddc.dll" would be unpdated with the possibility to set the BPF modes like in ESDR2.

Now I found out that there is a possibility to use my favorite settings - BPF & Preamp on - while using HDSDR as Rx software.
The procedure goes like this :
- start reception on HDSDR with the ExtIO, making sure it works.
stop the reception (F2)
- start ESDR2 and activate the desired BPF functions ( you hear the relais clicking )
stop the ESDR2 without erasing it from desktop
- start the HDSDR reception button ( F2)
There you are !

I now have the BPF. It arrived today and it is playing just fine. Less than 10 minutes installed. The only question was in which direction to place the board. I found a picture that shows the direction since the connectors are symmetrical. I just went to options and enabled the BPF check mark.

So far so good. .

After having installed the BPF the receiver was not overloaded by adjacent broadcast (am and fm). But I was still getting some strong FM interference. I resurrected my TVI filter and since it is a 0-30MHz band pass I installed it ahead of the CollibriDDC. It seems to be helping. I do not see the base-band oscillating as before.
