Just tried the latest RS 0.6.6 and it appears the same problem persists.
When you close the server in the normal way i.e. "X" at top right of window, it leaves a background task running.
That means when you try to load the program again you get a message saying it's already running.
It should be easily possible in your software to close the thread completely using 'abort' or 'dispose' or whatever.
It's really tedious to have to dip into task manager every time a restart is needed.
If you could look at this for a future release it would be appreciated

It's not a problem, ExpertRS suppose to work this way, if you want to close it for good, press the right mouse button on the icon in the taskbar and select Quit.

Thanks for the reply. I can't think of any other program I've used that leaves background tasks running when you close with the 'X'. I'd prefer to use the '-' to run minimised, and 'X' to end completely, but if that's how it is, that's how it is.
