Yeah I can ping the Sun Sdr
Pinging 192.168.1.177 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.1.177: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.177:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms

But still for some reason the sun won't show up on the router under LAN connections, only the Laptop

In cell.exe this is what I get, the 169 address being the laptop, what are these other ip addresses ? the sun isn't there, it's 192.168.1.177

I looked up how to find MAC address of the SUN and on the EESDR FAQ I found this.

"If your transceiver is connected to the router directly then you can find it in the router's ARP list. Find the transceiver's IP address in the list, there will be the MAC address."

Unfortunately it's not showing up in the routers ARP list. I have a feeling this is something do with the problem. It works fine over LAn though and I can ping it.

I tried rebooting the router and Sun.

hi again ..

the mac adress on mine sunsdr is 00:EE:00:00:00:B5 .. so yours could be in that range .

I tried for fun to change ip to .177 like yours and it still works .

my firmware is :

Assuming you are using Windows.

Did you firstly ping the ip address of your radio then within the same command (CMD) window type arp -a?

the ip of the radio pings successfully

When I run arp -a I can see the radio IP 192.168.1.7 00-ee-00-00-02-59 dynamic

This morning it showed up in the router, it hadn't previously but it is now.

Hi Mark,

I think your issue is that you have too many interfaces... I had the same issue. Disable all the network interfaces except the ethernet one (I'm assuming that is the one you want to use...). By then cell.exe should only report the ip from that interface...

hmm this might be a problem for users using i.e Docker, Vagrant, VirtualBox ?
Maybe this is the reason i cant get it to work.

It sure is... I've suggested roman to have this in the config file... WSL, wifi, bluetooth, etc. everything is an issue...

Yes, you're correct, thank you :D , teamviewer has some vpns created and I disabled them all along with the wifi adapter.

So it all connects and I can see my Sun but won't enable the radio, this is from EESDR v3 on the laptop tethered to my phone.

When I use web browser from the laptop I can see the radio interface in the background but doesn't enable the radio.

When I use my phone, same thing, sees the radio but doesn't enable it and nothing happens.

But.............progress! :so_happy:

I was able to get it to work briefly, but now it doesn't work anymore... both browser (pc/mobile) and EESDR3...

Yes it would be great if this was configurable in the JSON file.

Enable/disable other devices is not a good option in the long run when everything is out of apha/beta.

Hi All, thanks again for all your help! :so_happy:

Tonight it works ! :D if there were changes made they certainly worked.

The Server.exe laptop is on LAN and internet is 1GB down and 115 Mbs up. I was using 4g on the remote laptop, it was butter smooth.

AGC seems to be on "fast" and SYNC and AM seem to be mixed up, AM acts like SYNC and SYNC like AM.

I'm getting this error:

Any clues how to fix it ?
