On my Mac, I've been struggling for a while to get ESDR3 to play nice with WSJT-X and MacLoggerDX, and have encountered nothing but trouble with both CAT control and audio routing.
I finally found a build of JTDX "Improved" (which is a derivative of WSJT-X) that supports Expert's TCI excellent TCI protocol. The link is
here. I think it's a very nice enhancement to the original WSJT-X.
Be sure to follow the instructions in the ReadMe to cure any potential app launch issues. I've downloaded the "jtdx-2.2.159_improved_JTDX_GUI_Darwin-x86_64.dmg" version, and it works flawlessly with ESDR3 version 1.0.7 beta (the latest release as of this posting), and macOS Sonoma version 14.4, running on my M2 Studio Mac.
Don't you wish everyone used TCI?
