Hi, I don't understand how MSHV and EESDR3 shall be set up to work to get correct TX freq.
I have been running jtdx together with EESDR3 until now, but it looks like MSHV now is working better here except for the above.

Could some one point me to some info or explain how MSHV supposed to do this? I did look in to Ricks videos, but things might have changed??

Nothing has changed in the setup for MSHV

MSHV is working correctly with V3 make sure you have current version of MSHV.
I do think as I have been testing a RC there will be a release in coming weeks, but the upcoming version only changes the integral steps 16/24/32 and 32 floating.

make sure you are using (Constant selected TX audio frequency) see image below.

Also make sure you're using the correct TCI port.
by default, V3 uses 50001- I changed the V3 defaults TCI to 40001 to keep all my previous 3rd party application I had set in V2 consistent and working -

Also, in V3 make sure you changed the incorrect default offsets for DigU and DigL

Thanks CASDR !
I think I could get a better understanding after finding the "def" Tolerance set to 1500Hz (I hade it to 1000Hz) from start. But still a bit strange on ESDR spectrum display. All other settings looks the same here.

def 1500Hz
Example 1:
MSHV freq. 1000Hz
TX ESDR3 28073500Hz
Should give 28075000Hz
ESDR3 spectrum shows 2807500Hz

Example 2:
MSHV freq. 2000Hz
TX ESDR3 28074500Hz
Should give 28076000Hz
ESDR3 spectrum still shows 2807500Hz ??

Do you get the same results?

update
Part of it is solved by starting both ESDR3 and MSHV from scratch. It seems like when switching from jtdx to MSHV something was not working ok with ESDR3 and part of it was TX display in some way. But now it seems Ok on that part.
However, MSHV does not save my settings under Linux and issues with logging to CQRlog.

I would suggest you reach out to the MSHV IO group.
Christo monitors that group a lot as do many of us, since that's a MSHV thing you'll find better /quicker answer there..

For Linux, Try to ask Richard G8JVM mail (richard->@->g8jvm.com) <- remove (->) (spam filter)

Problem with saving solved by G8JVM !
I hade to cjange ownership of folder and file by:
chown -R user /usr/local/sbin

Still problem with only getting 1kHz instead of 1.5kHz, so I think the TX frequeny is wrong (have not measured).
So by that I mean that the monitor tone is 1kHz and TX spectrum on ESDR shows wrong expected freq.
But I also see that the ESDR shows TX offset expecting 1.5kHz to get correct freq.

Solved!
This is very funny ...not
I have been testing with the tuning function from MSHV and it always sends with 1kHz, but after tweaking and get closer (in tuning mode) I then realized (by accident) that I could get 1.5kHz in normal TX mode. So problem solved...

HI Tomas
"MSHV and it always sends with 1kHz" <- this not a true, MSHV and it always sends 1.5 kHz
You Software (EESDRxxx) always use 1kHz
Are you understand this ?

Hi Christo, thanks for your reply!
Maybe not...? I can only tell that when Im using the MSHV Tune-function I have a side-tone of 1kHz and when TX it uses 1.5kHz. Maye the Tune-function from MSHV just triggers the EESDR3 tuning function (using 1kHz)?

HI Tomas
If Tune audio tone is 1 kHz
But, if real TX 1.5 kHz + Rig frequencies moving, for compensation TX RF radio frequency
