Hi to everybody

I am trying to remotely operate SunSDR2DX on CW, by connecting my paddle to the COM port as explained in the User Manual.
But I haven't to find how to configure EESDR3 to recognise the signals coming form the COM port.
I have been playing with the RadioSync utility, but I have only been able to use my paddle as a straight key via CAT (TS-480).

How should I operate CW when connecting my paddle to my Windows 11 PC?
:?

Sorry but I browsed the forum and the internet without finding any solution.

Any help is very welcome.

Hi to everybody and HNY

I have still not got any answer to my query. I suppose it is pretty basic but would appreciate any feedback.
Is the only option to connect the paddle to the COM port, as described in the manual, to EESDR3 using 3rd party software (SDC?).
Is it going to be implemented using RadioSync in future versions?
I have noticed that RadioSync and Radio Spots is providing many additional features to EESDR3 previously provided by external software providers.
But as seeing the COM port connection of the paddle in the manual I expected it would work out of the box (what it does not in my case) and I am unable to figure out how to make connection happen.
I would sincerely appreciate any hint on this, please.
Or should I ask via support?

Thank you very much!

Kind regards,
Stefan

Thank you, Pibo, for your kind answer.
But how should I then understand the connection of the paddle to the COM port in page 24?
And connecting the rig directly through the IP address and not through the cloud to your laptop (windows).
I suppose you assume that also in this case it is not implemented. I would expect to be able to do it via TCI using the Radio-Sync utility.

Anyhow, thank you very much for answering so fast.
HNY!

Kind regards,

Stefan

Dear Stefan!
If I tel you honestly I did not try connecting paddle that way since I was using ESDR2. That adapter I made should be in my shack. I will try to find it...Then I could try. :-)
But in ESDR3 setup there is no "additional CW keyer" on COM port like in ESDR2.
But yes when RIG connected directly not remote via cloud.
HNY and take care!
