Today i want to do some Operations, but my E-Coder wont work...
The VFO-Wheel doesnt do anything....

All LED´s are blinking one after the other.
I tried to Upgrade Firmware, but "Failed to prepare E-Coder2 panel to firmware!"

Anybody had this issue before?

A short update....

It seems that there is NO error from E-Coder2.
I took a few measurements yesterday evening and discovered an unstable behavior in combination with my PC hardware.

My PC is older, but equipped with solid hardware.
Large power supply unit with stable power supply, solid Intel mainboard (DQ87PG) (industry standard), no external components (graphics, etc.).

I use several operating systems, but on different hard disks and therefore only plug in the hard disk of the operating system to be used.

Since I had problems yesterday with Win10 and Linux with 1.0.7, I assume that there is a problem with the software.
However, I was able to use the ECoder with my laptop (testing 1.0.4 and 1.0.7) without any problems.

However, I noticed yesterday that the ECoder is not always properly recognized as a USB device when it is plugged in, even under Linux.
Also under Windows it was sometimes fully recognized in the device manager, sometimes as a different device class.

The problem has not yet been completely found/solved, but I suspect problems with the mainboard.....

Hello

I also experience the same issue. I have updated to 1.0.7 and ran the ECoder2 firmware update successfully. The Ecoder2 is recognized by the software (purple box) but no action at all no sound out, no VFO. I have not tried another laptop but does not look to come from the device that respond to firmware upgrade and also is recognized by the software. So.. no idea yet.
