Spots on SDR3 using SDC or LOG4OM 12 Aug 2023 12:49 #1

Hi guys.....Ive had my SunSDR2 DX for a few months now and all is going great....i love the radio......BUT !....How on earth do i get the spot function to show any spots
I have tried, tried and tried again......ive changed things, ive tried all sorts of ip addresses but im still pulling my hair out and i cant get it to work

I have SDC downloaded but im not sure what information to enter as everytime i put in my port and ip address etc it says that the host is already being used. Due to this i have tried LOG4OM which is said to be able to generate the spots and send them to the SunSDR via the PC.....No, nothing......I am obviously doing something wrong and i dare say its an easy fix.....easy if you know how that is :(

Please help someone :yahoo:

Many thanks

In log4om set up a cluster server....configuration > cluster..I have mine on port 7372, set to auto start. The message you're getting from SDC is because you already have clusters defined in Log4om which are probably using the same details...You do not need SDC to send spots to EESDR. EESDR will find the local server and populate the band with spots. I use GB7VAX as main cluster because it has RBN aggregator built in, I haso have DXfun cluster enabled in L4om

hope this helps
