TOPIC: Remote controlled on-off via WIFI plug

Remote controlled on-off via WIFI plug 05 May 2023 13:17 #1

Hello everybody
Marco IU2DXF here

Anyone has experience using a tp-link (or similar) wifi plug for switching the power supply on-off?
I mean: radio is always in ON and remotely switching power supply...I don't think there's any risk of damage but better safe than sorry...

Thanks for your hints!

I have always operated my SunSDR2DX this way, the radio switch is on, and I remotely turn on/off the power supply feeding it.
