Here some pictures of an easy to build VGA breakoutbox which you can find at low cost in the bay.

I used a 8-conductor shielded Lan-cable and glued it into the breakoutbox
As precaution you see some added some ferrite cores covered with a heat shink sleeve.

Very handy and easy to build
