I am at the point where it is time to replace my shack computer.

These days, I am running a SunSDR2 DX, Ecoder, SDC, LOG4OM and N1MM. I am a CW operator who seldom uses any other modes. The PC being replaced is an older I7 laptop running Windows 10, and is not a candidate for upgrade to Windows 11.

What I am looking for is a desktop that will run Windows 11 and the software in a SunSDR based station OPTIMALLY.

The analysis I have done have pointed me to 13th or 14th generation I7, 16 or 32GB of RAM and a GPU such as the NVIDIA 4060.

Am I on the right path?
