Hello,
since remote does not work for me with ExpertSDR3, I am trying the old legacy RS.
1) Installed ExpertSDR2, including firmware downgrading => works good
2) Installed ExpertRS => Server is starting and finds the SunSDR2pro
3) Installed the ExpertSDR2 Remote Client
4) Connect to the server (tried first on local machine, but also on a remote PC with port-forwarding 5050).
5) connection ok,

BUT:
1) there is no receive, even with +10db the signals are vy low
2) Tune or MOX doesnt switch the SunSDR2 pro into TX mode, hence no output power

Attached a screenshot from the remote client and from the local expertsdr2.
Any ideas?

Manual 1.1.1 page 21:
Note: for SunSDR2 PRO, at the moment, you can use only antenna input A3, thus you cannot
operate on the 2M band yet,
for MB1, at the moment, you can use only antenna input A1, thus you cannot operate on the 2M
band yet.

Thanks Pibo!
RX is now working with the remote client.
But no power out on TX.
Not with Tune (tune pwr to 100%), not with MOX...
(Power out on TX works with the regular V2-Client, but not with the remote client).

Any ideas?

Thanks & 73 Ernst

Ernst!
Do you have FW for last V2 ESDR software? That is only thing I can think off....
I can not try it because I dont need remote control. I only work localy on local LAN.

Yes, I was back on ExpertSDR3 (did some tests, without success).
Then I started ExpertSDR2, after "power on", I confirmed the firmware-update. This went through without any issues.

The "normal" ExpertSDR2 runs as expected, but unfortunatly no TX-power with the remote client (I tried it in the local LAN as well via WAN).
With MOX or TUNE on the remote client, the SunSDR2 pro goes into TX (status led turns red, relay is clicking), but 0 power out.

I went throgh the whole GUI and all the settings, but could not find anything suspicious. Other then in the "normal"-Client, there is not red "TX" sign in the VFO-Area on the remote client.

If someone is still on V2, maybe he could do a short test:
1) download ExpertRS (legacy)
2) download ExpertSDR2 remote client (can be installed in parallel)
3) Start the ExpertRS server and then the remote client
4) try the tune-button
Would be of interest, if this is working.

I did'nt find any special or separate firmware for the SunSDR2 pro. I guess its included in the ExpertSDR2-package.
