I have a problem with connection remote via cloud.
I can connect, i can read info/details from SunSDR2DX but I don't have signal on spectrum.
Connection to cloud is made via ERS on RPi 4.

Thanks

The main reason to buy a SunSDR2 was the ability to work remote (main Rig is an Anan 7000).
Unfortunatly remote operation with ERS is not usable:

Via ee-cloud and ERS I can connect to the SunSDR2 pro only once. After a second attempt, the GUI comes up, not showing any signs of "life", not waterfall, no temp-info, nothing. But the power-button on left top corner states "swiched on". (btw: TCI is working, meaning the frequency information is available via TCI).
If I delete the settings.json (in my case remote_EED05262100879.json) and start again, it comes to life...but I had to configure all again => not usable.

I even tried to backup the remote_EED05262100879.json after a complete configuration, but restoring does not bring it back to life. There is no much info on the server-window, no log.
I spent some time (restarting server-software,etc.) to solve this, but with no luck.

Find attached my json, maybe you find out what is wrong with it.

I am tempted to sell it, and go for a Flex...

@Roman
I am not sure what your programmers are doing, but the release-cycle (in special in a beta-phase) should be not longer then 2-4 weeks. We have some volunteer projects with a release cycle of 1-2 days(!) in the beta-phase.

1) make the remote-operation stable (including the tx-voice-delay)
2) shorten the release cycle
3) fix the bugs, decrease the priority of new stuff

Otherwise - I guess - you will notice an incredible amount of sales-drop in the next month....

Update:
ERS on RPi4 build 20221223
ExpertSDR3 Ver.1.0.4 beta build 24042023
SunSDR2DX firmware 86.8, PCB rev 11
Peer to peer connection established, ping 1 to 8ms
Working but have some limitation, on SSB have some clicks on TX
Tested from 39kHz to 312kHz.
On RX was observed some clicks/interrupts when window is minimize or in background.
I will try on different VPN to see difference.

Update
I start tested and used with EOIP from Mikrotik.
Working like champ.
Ping media is around 4ms to 7ms, no any clicks on SSB.
ExpertSDR3 Device Manager discover my SunSDR2DX without issue, also I'm able to update firmware.
This working home to home, on the same ISP.
I like to test how performing remote through 4G connection.

@YO4FZV, I think 4G/LTE in-build packet reassimbling and compensation mechanisms may prevent. Perhaps, it also may be country-dependent, but I have non-promicing results earlier this year, when tried via AU/LTE using Cisco NIM-4G-LTE-GA= card (note that broadband remote via same router did work without caveats observed while on LTE).

Microtik is a good point. So far we have three routers, which are producing promicing results in remote: pfSense (both versions), Cisco and now Mikrotik. Which, I would say, kind of expected. Perhaps later, close to release, we may need talk to Roman about creating Manual's add-on with recommended/tested router options and base configs for those.

Hi, how is EOIP from Mikrotik work in this scenario? Do you get the same subnet on both sides of the routers (as ESDR3 remote requires without the server), or did I misunderstand the setup?
Maybe it works as Zerotier or Tailscale, then I dont understand how this helps? Maybe there is a way to pint the ESDR3 device manager to correct subnet??

I guess it is running in bridge mode, and I actually found some documentation of this for Zerotier. Maybe something to try :)

Hi all, sorry for delay on answers, I'm was so busy this days
I have two Mikrotiks on both sides, there are main routers for home and my village where SunSDR2DX is running.
On my home, on remote side, I bring through EOIP on VLAN, and through the switches is reached my living room, on living room switch I assign two ports what give me remote network from village.
DHCP, ARP and all layer 2 working smooth, ExperSDR3 working like I'm in the same network on village.
From the Mikrotik's, I use EOIP with DNS name on remote sides, I use same ISP on both sides, what give me dynamic IP's, and also give me free dynamic DNS.
Mikrotik offer also free dynamic DNS through the cloud.
Next step for me is to try from LTE 4G, there must have different approach

Some points:
I'm fan Mikrotik, from few years now all my devices changed to Mikrotik, all my switches are CSS, with and without POE, all AP's are Mikrotik on home and village.
Many years I use around the world, on roaming also Mikrotik.
During more than 5 years only one issue, one power supply 24V get burned.
For me was like tractors, heavy duty and reliable, I have friends what are use on repeaters on some inaccessible locations.
