I would prefer that Radio Sync synchronizations would release serial ports if the TCI connection is not active, as opposed to connecting to them without a TCI connection. Depending on what you are trying to do, this ties up serial ports. On a PC it is easy to manipulate serial ports, but on OSX it is not so easy.
