:hospital: Thank you for the version ExpertSDR2_1.2.RC2_ColibriNANO which does not bring much on nano. Expertsdr2 is a beautiful but very limited software in the nano version. What is the MUTE button for?It is not working. I reported the problem when using the Colibrinano with a transceiver as 2nd receiver but it has not been corrected. It is desirable in transmission that the RF gain is reduced by 60 dB and the audio volume is turned off. This exists on HDSDR and on SDRConsole. jean-Marie F1DJY

Hi, Jean Marie.
We aware of it, we'll add the Mute function, you are talking about, to the software, just a bit later.

Hi Rome
So, do you have an answer to my question about using Colibrinano with a transceiver, which has been totally forgotten in the software.

Hi Rome
You did not understand my question. The MUTE button does not work OK. My question is how to turn off the AUDIO volume automatically in transmission, and reduce the RF gain from 40 to 60 db so as not to saturate the receiver colibrinano. This can be done easily in the software using the PTT transmitted by the CAT. Did you understand my question? Jean Marie

Hi, Jean Marie.
I understood your question the first time and replied:
We aware of it (that audio does not mute automatically when you transmit), we'll add the Mute function (the way you explained it should be functioning), to the ExpertESDR2, just a bit later.

Hello,

I am going to buy a new ColibriNano and I will connect it on the RX-Out connector of my Tentec Eagle.
I am wondering if I'll experience any issue (like the one of F1DJY) during the transmit. I know the RX-Out connector is switched off when the rig goes in transmit so it should be fine "as is".
Can you confirm please?

Hi guys,
In the latest ESDR2 RC3 release we'll add the auto-mute feature when the transceiver is TXing, for all our receivers.

Hello Rome
I just installed the new RC3 at the moment! There is absolutely no change for me. Reception is not off and the mute key has no action. I use omnirig on a Yaesu FT840. Is there something I did not understand?

"Mute function via OmniRig will be added in the new ExpertSDR2 1.3 in some early versions, probably in January."
Hello Roman
So when is the mute on the nano? The clicks are repeated from time to time for one or two minutes even without an antenna, and without USB cord. What does it come from?

The mute function will be added to the ExpertSDR2, for operation with Omnirig, in a couple of weeks, in the final release of the ExpertSDR2 1.2.
